Clinical Faculty Opportunity in Springfield, Missouri. Orthopaedic Surgery, Division of Pediatric and Adolescent Orthopaedic Surgery
WashU Medicine’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Division of Pediatric and Adolescent Orthopaedic Surgery, seeks a full-time pediatric orthopaedic surgeon faculty member to join our growing practice in Springfield, Missouri.
This position will be based at the new St. Louis Children’s Hospital Specialty Care Center in partnership with CoxHealth, scheduled to open in 2027. The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to establish and grow a regional pediatric orthopaedic practice while benefiting from the clinical, academic and research resources of one of the nation’s leading pediatric orthopaedic programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical:
Clinical practice based in Springfield, Missouri, serving children and families throughout southwest Missouri and the surrounding region.
Collaborate with pediatric specialists across WashU Medicine, St. Louis Children’s Hospital and CoxHealth to provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients.
Optional participation in clinical care and surgical cases at Shriners Children’s St. Louis based on candidate interest and division needs.
Opportunity to join Department and Division educational conferences and events virtually or in person.

Required: All applicants must have completed, or be in the process of completing, a pediatric orthopedic surgery fellowship training program. All applicants must be board certified or board eligible and must be eligible to obtain a permanent Missouri medical license.
