Anesthesiologist - Missouri Baptist Medical Center (MBMC)

Position Description: The Department of Anesthesiology at Wash U Medicine is seeking full time General Anesthesiologist faculty members at Missouri Baptist Medical Center.  In this community setting, these anesthesiology positions include a mix of solo-performing and supervision of CRNAs. Missouri Baptist Medical Center has unique surgical specialties/service lines with various levels of acuity that offer exciting cases for your professional growth.   It includes shift-work scheduling with protected pre-call and post-call days enabling greater work-life balance.

This is an appointment within a 'private practice' environment and competitive community compensation. A part-time position or rotation to other sites will also be considered. If desired, there is opportunity to be active in the vast academic department which has a total of 140 faculty and is also a national leader in research. New grads are strongly encouraged to apply - no fellowship required.

Basic Qualifications:

Anesthesiology Board certified or eligible. Appointment is contingent upon having a Missouri Medical License, DEA number, BNDD number and submitting to and passing a background check and drug screen, in addition to being fully credentialed by applicable hospitals, and maintaining compliance with medical staff policies, including having all mandatory vaccinations. WUSM has the following mandatory training requirements for clinical faculty in order to meet regulatory requirements and promote quality patient care:

 

HIPAA Compliance - one time, online course

Billing Compliance - annually, online course

Risk Management Training- one time, online course

Expert Witness Code of Conduct - one time, signed affirmation statement required
