Pediatric Pulmonologist WURP Staff Physician (Springfield, Missouri) #

St. Louis Children’s Hospital at Cox Healthcare in Springfield, Missouri and Washington University School of Medicine are seeking board certified/board eligible applicants for WashU Regional Physicians roles at the Springfield, Missouri location. The successful pediatric pulmonology trained physician will join our existing team at the brand new Children’s Specialty Care Center (CSCC) location in Springfield, Missouri, slated to open in July of 2027.

This dynamic team currently includes one Pediatric Endocrinologist as well as Peds GI, Peds Neurology, and Peds Sleep physicians. Outreach clinic support is also provided through St. Louis Children’s Hospital with Peds Urology, Peds Ophthalmology, Peds General Surgery, and Peds Hematology/Oncology. This position is primarily outpatient based with hospital consults at nearby Cox Medical Center South. Cox South has an exceptional 26-bed pediatric inpatient unit with Pediatric Hospitalist coverage, a 6-bed PICU covered by Pediatric Intensivists, and a 36-bed NICU with 24/7 coverage by Neonatologists and NNPs.
