The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine and St. Louis Children's Hospital is seeking applicants for board certified physician who has completed general pediatrics training for work at the Edwardsville, Illinois Urgent care location. This is a WashU Regional Physicians (WURP) role with a voluntary faculty appointment. Salary and benefits are competitive.

Washington University School of Medicine ranks among the top medical schools in the country, and St. Louis Children's Hospital is also nationally recognized as a leader in pediatric healthcare. The 455-bed pediatric hospital includes a 77 bed pediatric ICU, a 16 bed pediatric bone marrow transplant unit, and a 150 bed neonatal ICU. The hospital offers comprehensive services in every pediatric and medical subspeciality, serving a diverse patient population in the St. Louis metropolitan area and primary service region covering six states. The Emergency Department provides care for 50,000 children each year, and the hospital has achieved Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center designation by the American College of Surgeons, as well as the States of Missouri and Illinois.
