Pediatric Critical Care Medicine WURP Staff Physician (Springfield, Missouri) #1011203

St. Louis Children’s Hospital at Cox Healthcare in Springfield, Missouri and Washington University School of Medicine are seeking applicants for WashU Regional Physicians roles at the Springfield, Missouri location. The successful critical care trained physician will join our existing team in providing coverage to our six-bed PICU at St. Louis Children’s Hospital at Cox Medical Center South. This long-established program serves more than 30 counties throughout Southwest Missouri and Northwest Arkansas.

Cox South is a 706-bed facility which includes a six-bed PICU staffed by 2 full-time physicians with PRN assistance. The 33-bed Level III NICU is covered 24/7 by our team of Neonatologists and NNPs, and our 26-bed Pediatric Inpatient Unit is staffed by board-certified pediatric hospitalists. Other pediatric specialists include endocrinology, gastroenterology, neurology, and more. The Cox Air Care program and the Children's Ambulance provide services for newborn emergency transports. Cox South has been affiliated with the Children's Miracle Network since 1986.
