The Department of Anesthesiology at WashU Medicine is seeking a full-time Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join the Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology at our Children’s Specialty Care Centers in West County, South County, and Wentzville. In this exciting opportunity, you will join a thriving and dedicated group of 33 Pediatric Anesthesiologists, 28 CRNAs, Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellows, 4 Nurse practitioners, and 5 Administrators with a unified focus on excellence in patient care and innovation. In this community setting, this position will include a mix of solo-performing and supervision of CRNAs.
This is an academic appointment within a “private practice" environment and competitive community compensation. This position will be excluded from taking overnight call and will work Monday through Friday. Faculty appointment level will depend on the applicant’s credentials and experience.
The Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology critically supports a shared academic mission with the Department of Anesthesiology by providing clinical, educational, and research training to medical students, Anesthesiology residents, and Pediatric Anesthesiology fellows. This shared mission includes a commitment to the development of faculty at all stages of their careers. - Board Certification in Anesthesiology
- Board Certification in Pediatric Anesthesiology is preferred.
