Faculty Position - Gynecologic Oncology/Center for Reproductive Health Sciences

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Gynecologic Oncology and Center for Reproductive Health Sciences (CRepHS) invite applications for a full-time, investigator-track faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor. Outstanding individuals with a track-record in basic/translational gynecologic cancer research with a focus on ovarian cancer research are encouraged to apply. Physician-scientists are highly encouraged to apply.

Applicants will be expected to establish a dynamic, interactive, extramurally-funded research program and share our commitment to education by teaching or supervising post-doctoral, graduate and undergraduate trainees, medical students, residents and clinical fellows. Duties may involve other scholarly activities as assigned by the Department.

Application review starts immediately and will continue on a rolling basis. We offer competitive start-up funding, well-designed laboratory space in continuity with two physician-scientist who direct laboratories focused on research in ovarian cancer. The applicant will have access to outstanding core facilities in the Center for Reproductive Health Sciences and biorepositories for basic and translational research opportunities, as well as close collaboration with clinical research opportunities within the Division of Gynecologic Oncology. In addition, the applicant will also have access to outstanding resources at Washington University School of Medicine (WUSM) and at the Siteman Cancer Center, the comprehensive NCI-designated cancer center affiliated with WUSM. The successful applicant will be housed in the Center for Reproductive Health Sciences within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Prospective candidates should hold a PhD, MD, MD/PhD or equivalent degree.
