Diagnostic Radiologist - Onsite - Phelps and Sullivan

Work Location: Onsite, providing coverage for Phelps County Regional Medical Center and Missouri Baptist Sullivan

We are currently seeking a Diagnostic Onsite Radiologist for an exciting and rewarding opportunity at the prestigious Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University. The chosen candidate will be providing coverage for Phelps County Regional Medical Center and Missouri Baptist Sullivan.  These two rural hospitals are located in south central Missouri in close proximity to each other.

Rolla, with a population of about 20,000, is located in Phelps County, which is less than 100 miles from St. Louis, Columbia, and Springfield, Missouri.  Rolla is in close proximity to the Mark Twain National Forest, Maramec Spring Park and has been identified "101 Best Outdoor" towns with many springs, forests, and rivers.  Sullivan is located at the intersection of Interstate 44 and Missouri Route 185. Meramec State Park is east of the city.  The driving distance between Rolla and Sullivan is approximately 40 miles.

- Monday to Friday, 7AM to 4PM.

- Approximately 80% time in Rolla and 20% time in Sullivan.

- No nights or call coverage

- Ability to earn additional compensation for paid weekend and off hours coverage.

- Provide expert onsite radiological interpretation of imaging studies and minor procedures.

- Analyze and interpret radiographs, MRI, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT scans and mammography.

- Collaborate with other medical staff to improve patient care.

- Provide timely and high-quality reports and consultation on patient findings.

- Participate in multidisciplinary conferences to recommend patient treatment plans.

- Adhere to all departmental procedures and quality standards.

- Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.

- Proficiency in interpreting ultrasound and CT scans.

- No MR interpretation required.

Please note: This position is not visa eligible.

Compensation and Benefits:

- Salary up to $600,000 annually, which includes a geographic differential.

- 20 vacation days (increasing to 22 days after 3 years).
