The Division of General Medicine and Geriatrics at Washington University in St. Louis is seeking candidates for a full-time faculty position to support the growing clinical practice program through outpatient primary and subspecialty geriatric clinical care.  Opportunities may also be available for inpatient geriatric consultation and/or in the long term care setting as well as to precept in the Internal Medicine residency continuity clinic. We welcome applicants with demonstrated interests in aging, current or past geriatric fellowship training and/or experience in geriatric care.

The successful candidate should have completed fellowship training in geriatrics by July 1st, 2024, board-certified or board-eligible in geriatrics, and have an interest in an academic practice setting and teaching. Appointed faculty will also have a future opportunity but not be required to contribute to existing  and/or new clinical research. Additionally, as an integral part of the educational mission, the faculty member will participate in educating medical students, residents, and fellows.
