Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist (Full-Time), Academic Clinician, Knight Alzheimer Disease Research Center (ADRC)


     The Section on Aging & Dementia in the Department of Neurology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis is seeking a board eligible/board certified neurologist for a faculty position.  Applicants at all academic ranks are encouraged to apply.  Primary responsibilities include outpatient evaluation and management of patients with a wide variety of cognitive disorders in the faculty practice, the Memory Diagnostic Center.  There also is the opportunity to treat eligible patients in the associated Anti-Amyloid Immunotherapy Clinic, As of October 2024, over 230 patients are receiving anti-amyloid monoclonal antibody therapy; the Clinic will expand with the addition of other Food and Drug Administration-approved disease-modifying therapies for Alzheimer disease.

In addition to the outpatient Memory Diagnostic Center and its Anti-Amyloid Immunotherapy Clinic, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to contribute research assessments of participants enrolled in the Knight Alzheimer Disease Research Center and its Clinical Trials Unit, in addition to serving as an attending neurologist on the inpatient neurology consult service.  Education is an important part of our mission, patient care activities, and clinical research assessments.  Salary is guaranteed with performance incentives and excellent Washington University benefits.
