Position Description
The Department of Psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis is recruiting investigators at all academic levels into our collegial academic environment. We seek excellent researchers in the areas of preclinical neuroscience (including circuits, neuroinflammation, novel treatments), translational psychiatry (including neurostimulation, addiction, chrono-biology), and clinical research (including neuro-interventional psychiatry and digital health). Individuals with an MD/PhD, MD, or PhD with postdoctoral experience are eligible. Investigators with research programs that cross traditional departmental boundaries are particularly encouraged to apply. The Department includes strong programs in genetics, epidemiology, pharmacology, neurophysiology, brain imaging, clinical research, policy, public health, child & adolescent psychiatry, translational studies, and implementation research. These positions also offer superb scientific resources including a competitive start up package.

Candidates must possess an MD, PhD or combined MD/PhD in a clinical discipline, PharmD or comparable doctoral degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Competitive applicants will have a strong, productive postdoctoral training experience, mentorship credentials, teaching experience, and a demonstrable commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion best practices.
