Full-Time Neurodegeneration and Neuroimmunology Research Faculty

The Department of Neurology is seeking an individual with experience for a full-time research faculty position in the lab of Dr. David Holtzman. The position duties include conducting research in the laboratory of Dr. David Holtzman working on the role of innate and adaptive immunity in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of neurodegeneration. The candidate will work closely with students, technicians, lab members, and other faculty associated with the Holtzman Lab and other groups at Washington University School of Medicine. Overall goals are to do research on this topic and to publish high quality publications in this area, as well as to actively collaborate and work with other scientists.  Minimum requirements for the position include having an MD or a PhD and having done post-doctoral training in the area of neurodegeneration and neuroimmunology.

 

In regard to physicians and scientists, the Department of Neurology employs over 100 faculty and offers neurological care in all subspecialties.  Affiliated hospitals include Barnes-Jewish (BJH), Barnes-Jewish West County (BJWC), St. Louis Children’s Hospital (SLCH), and the Rehabilitation Institute of St. Louis.   Washington University is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
