Assistant Professor/Associate Professor of Medicine Sections of Medical Oncology and Molecular Oncology

The Division of Oncology, Sections of Medical and Molecular Oncology at Washington University in St. Louis, seek candidates for faculty positions at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. The Division of Oncology has outstanding resources, a collegial working environment, an impressive track record of clinical and translational research, and a well-organized clinical and research infrastructure. The Alvin J Siteman Cancer Center at Washington University is one of the top cancer centers in the country, with Exceptional ratings from the National Cancer Institute over the past decade.

Positions are available for oncologists with a subspecialty focus in Gastrointestinal, Genitourinary, Breast malignancies and Phase I Developmental Therapeutics. We are interested in applicants who want to build an outstanding career in patient-oriented research in these malignant diseases. We are also interested in recruiting laboratory based physician-scientists to further enhance our efforts in solid tumor oncology.  The successful candidate will strengthen our basic and clinical research efforts by utilizing the excellent translational research opportunities and resources available at the University, including access to cutting-edge clinical trials and a well-staffed clinical trials office. As an integral part of the educational mission, the faculty members will actively participate in the teaching of fellows, residents, and medical students. 

1) Board Certified/Board Eligible Medical Oncologist

2) Successful completion of Internal Medicine Training and an Oncology/Hematology Fellowship

3) Desire to participate in teaching with protected time for clinical research and publication journals
