The Neurogenomics and Informatics Center (https://neurogenomics.wustl.edu/), together with the Departments of Neurology, Genetics, and Psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine is recruiting three faculties (tenure track) with experience in human statistical genetics, genomics or computational biology. Start-up packages and salary are competitive and commensurate with experience.
The Neurogenomics and Informatics Center mission is to leverage genetics and genomics to understand the biology of neurodegeneration, create novel prediction models and identify causal and druggable targets. The NGI is seeking exceptional PhD, MD/PhD, or MD faculty candidates in basic and/or translational genomics or computational biology with a focus in neurodegeneration. The successful candidate is expected to establish an extramurally-funded research program, mentor Master's and PhD students and foster development of an equitable and diverse environment.
Specially we are looking with faculties with a focus on:

4- Functional genomics
The new faculty will join to a large, multi-disciplinary and collaborative environment that includes five faculties with expertise in genetics, genomics, multi-omics, machine learning, IPSC and animal models. The successful candidate will also become integrated into the university’s neuroscience and genetics communities that feature highly successful members, a collaborative atmosphere, and broad research interests. The NGI is associated with several highly ranked graduate programs. The candidate will enjoy access to the NGI’s shared equipment, data, biospecimens, and expertise, as well as to specialized centers and state-of-the-art cores throughout the school of medicine.
The candidate will hold a PhD in statistics, bioinformatics, computational biology, biostatistics, statistical genetics, medical statistics, mathematics, or similar, strong publication record and a well define research project(s).
