Division Chief - Obstetrics and Gynecology - Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility

The Division Chief will have overall responsibility for division strategy and the unique opportunity to lead the ongoing development of the division’s nationally ranked clinical and educational programs and expand cutting-edge basic, clinical, and translational research. Reporting to the Chief is the Director, IVF Laboratory and administrative and clinical staff of approximately 20.

The Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility is a regional leader in delivering evidence-based services to men and women facing infertility. The division is home to The Fertility and Reproductive Medicine Center which annually experiences 19,000 office visits providing all services conveniently under one roof. Each year, more than 2,000 couples are evaluated and treated for infertility making it the most trusted center in the region. The Center proudly maintains a 24-year membership with the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART).

Faculty conduct groundbreaking research both at the bench and at the bedside and participate in a number of individual and multi-center clinical studies.  The division is home to a three-year fellowship with one fellow per year. Faculty are also highly engaged in a variety of learners, including a rigorous fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, Ob/Gyn residency training program, and medical students.

This key leadership role requires an academic physician leader with strong clinical and business/marketing acumen. The successful candidate will have a track record of outstanding patient care, collaborative leadership skills, individual scholarship, program growth/development, educational excellence, and faculty recruitment.

Qualified candidates must hold AMBS board certification in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility with an MD, DO, MD/PhD or equivalent degree and should be at the rank Assistant Professor or above.  The successful candidate will be an innovative leader with knowledge and experience in navigating complex academic institutions, health centers, and/or teaching hospitals coupled with administrative experience. 

The Chief will be well-informed on national trends and best practices in REI and have demonstrated a strong commitment to medical education and dedication to promoting scholarship and research opportunities for students, residents, fellows, and faculty members. The ability to recruit, develop, mentor and manage academic faculty and staff across the clinical, research, and education missions is essential.
