The Department of Pediatrics is looking for a motivated individual to lead research efforts for the Washington University Undiagnosed Diseases Network (UDN) C. elegans model organism screening center (MOSC). The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. or an equivalent degree and 3-5 years post-doctoral experience working with C. elegans. Candidate must be proficient with genetic screens, generation of transgenic animals, CRISPR technology and experienced with diverse phenotyping of genetic mutants.
