Interventional/General Radiologist

The Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) seeks an Interventional Radiologist with general radiology experience to join our faculty in our expanding Section of Community Radiology in the Greater St. Louis area in Missouri.

Although we are based in St. Louis city, our community radiology section provides a broad range of advanced imaging procedures to hospitals and outpatient clinics serving St. Charles, St. Louis and Phelps Counties. This position’s primary location will be at Barnes Jewish St. Peters Hospital in St. Peters, Missouri.  MIR is comprised of a large multi-specialty collaborative faculty, and is one of the preeminent academic radiology departments in the nation.

We use disease-specific protocols, perform quality imaging exams and provide accurate and in-depth interpretations. Not all imaging centers and radiologists are alike. Our expertise and the time we take for tests often eliminates the need for more imaging exams and reduces patients' exposure to radiation. We provide pediatric and adult radiologic services.

Applicants should be ABR certified or ABR eligible with either an M.D. or M.D., Ph.D. and fellowship training in Interventional radiology.
Special Instructions

We provide our radiologists with generous benefits that include health, life and disability coverage, retirement and tuition assistance.  In addition to these competitive benefits, the university offers a variety of time off and quality-of-life programs.

We are a diverse group and wholly encourage diversity to reflect the rich community in which we live and serve. We are committed to promoting an environment that is inclusive and welcoming to all individuals. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, veteran status, disability or genetic information.
