Pediatric Hepatologist - Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, & Nutrition - #1010460
Pediatric hepatologist to join Washington University Department of Pediatrics, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, & Nutrition, on the Clinician Track as an Assistant Professor. Applicant must have completed a pediatric gastroenterology fellowship, and one year of training in an ACGME program in pediatric transplant hepatology. Board certification or board eligibility is required in both. Position includes general pediatric hepatology and transplant hepatology, and has multiple opportunities for collaborations and self-initiated clinical research.
M.D. degree or equivalent.
Board certified in Pediatrics, Sub-Board Certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, & Nutrition, and board eligible or certified in Transplant Hepatology.
Completion of a one year formal fellowship in pediatric transplant hepatology.
Skilled in all procedural aspects of hepatology, including liver biopsy, and variceal banding and injections.
Willingness to teach junior faculty and trainees.
Serve a large region with telephone and in-person support to collaborating centers
Clinical research in relevant field.
Engagement in national consortiums.
