Research Faculty (Full-Time), Knight Alzheimer Disease Research Center

The Department of Neurology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and its Knight Alzheimer Disease Research Center (ADRC) are seeking an individual with experience in community engagement for a full-time faculty position as an academic Investigator.  Responsibilities for this position include evaluating and implementing strategies to engage members of the greater St. Louis community to contribute to the scientific directions undertaken by the Knight ADRC and to encourage community members, particularly those from under-served groups, to become research participants in the clinical studies of the Knight ADRC.  Additional duties include integration of the community engagement efforts with the activities of the Knight ADRC’s Outreach, Recruitment, and Engagement Core as well as teaching medical students, neurology residents, and Knight ADRC postdoctoral fellows about diversity, equity, and inclusion and about community-based participatory research.  Leading funded community-engaged research programs is encouraged should interest and opportunity permit.
