Pediatric Cardiologist, Heart Failure & Transplant #1010415
The Heart Center at St. Louis Children’s Hospital and the Washington University School of Medicine is recruiting a pediatric cardiologist with an interest in heart failure & transplant at the assistant to associate professor level. This individual will join the Division of Pediatric Cardiology and should be board eligible or certified in pediatric cardiology with additional training in heart failure & transplant. Primary role will be to participate in the heart failure, transplant and both IP/OP MCS capacity. This position will interface with multiple Pediatric Cardiac sub-specialists and other sub-specialties to care for the complex congenital cardiac population cared for within St. Louis Children’s. Maintain a strong engagement in fellow education. Additional responsibilities will include inpatient service coverage and consults, telemedicine interpretations and clinical research.
St Louis Children’s Hospital is a national leader in pediatric heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support. There are 38 beds within the Heart Center caring for a wide range of very complex cardiac patients. In addition, we have very active outreach clinics and draw patients from throughout the Midwest as well as nationally.
