Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences

Washington University Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences is seeking an innovative and motivated physician to join our practice starting academic year 2020 as an Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon.

• Full-time academic appointment
• Patient care, Research and Resident education

The qualified applicant will demonstrate:

• Excellence in clinical care
• Clinical management experience
• Outstanding teaching skills
• Clinical or basic science research experience

 

Fellowship training in Ophthalmology is required. Candidates must be board certified or eligible for certification.

The applicant will have completed, or expects to complete, an approved American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) fellowship. Applicant will be expected to become an approved ASOPRS member within 2 years after finishing fellowship training.
