Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery

Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO seeks Assistant Professor to teach, conduct research and have patient care responsibilities in Otolaryngology. Teach residents and fellows including one-on-one and didactic sessions; teach courses; accrue tissue samples for research in lab studies and carry out clinical studies in cancer care; Research may involve acquiring data from databases or from patient charts and may include such projects as data and outcomes analysis of transoral laser surgery cases (head and neck); Treat patients in the clinic and operating room; Participate multidisciplinary cancer care. 

Require: MD, Missouri Medical License & Evidence of education leadership and scholarly activities.  Must be board certified or eligible for certification from American Board of Otolaryngology or similar organization.  One year (12 MONTHS) of fellowship training in Otolaryngology (or related specialty) or extensive experience in ablative surgery or reconstructive microsurgery and multidisciplinary management of head & neck patients is required.
