The Oncology Division in the Department of Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis is seeking a PhD to work within the Section of Molecular Oncology.  This individual will investigate whether and how genetic loss of SETD2 and NF2 promotes nccRCC initiation and progression using genetically engineered mouse models and materials derived from these GEMs such as renal tubular epithelium (RTE) cells for in vitro studies; Investigate the mechanisms by which the SETD2 loss synergizes with the NF2 loss leading to signaling aberrations.

Position requires PhD in Molecular Biology or related field and 5 years work experience in mouse genetics, molecular biology and biochemistry.  Must have a record of publication of high quality articles in cancer research field.
