The Department of Neuroscience at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis is seeking applicants for a full-time teaching position at the rank of instructor. Applicants must have experience in, and enthusiasm for, teaching medical neuroscience, systems neuroscience, and/or neuroanatomy.
Washington University School of Medicine offers many exciting opportunities for teacher training, including the Teaching Scholars Program offered through the Office of Medical Education. It is expected that the applicant will significantly contribute to the instruction of medical neuroscience within the School of Medicine and to the Graduate Program in Neuroscience within the Division of Biology and Biomedical Sciences. Candidates should have interest, and preferably experience in innovative educational content design and evidence-based instructional methods.
Applicants should have completed an advanced degree (PhD in Neuroscience preferred) and have documented teaching experience. Successful applicants are expected to become content experts in neuroscience with the opportunity for curriculum development in this area.
