The Center for Therapeutics in Women’s Infectious Disease (http://cwidr.wustl.edu/) invites applicants for a TENURE-TRACK faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of Molecular Microbiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. We are seeking applicants in any area of microbiology who are motivated to create a high-impact research program in microbial pathogenesis focused on infectious diseases relevant to women, and to engage in interdisciplinary, collaborative research directed toward the development of novel therapeutic approaches.  Previous experience in women’s health research is not a prerequisite, and we especially encourage applicants with bold new perspectives.  We welcome applications from members of groups that are typically underrepresented in science.
