Professor

Professor of Genetics

The Department of Genetics is recruiting investigators at all academic levels. Individuals with research programs in any area of genetics/genomics are encouraged to apply. The Department includes programs on single-cell genomic analysis, genome engineering, gene regulatory networks, and neurological disorders and has long-standing strengths in computational biology, model organism biology, genomics, and statistical genetics.

These positions offer superb scientific resources in a collegial department (http://www.genetics.wustl.edu) with access to sequencing and genomic analysis for research and clinical samples, high-performance computing, genome engineering, and induced pluripotent stem cell technologies. Department faculty members have extensive interactions with most departments at the University, and with the Hope Center for Neurological Disorders, the McDonnell Genome Institute, Intellectual and Developmental Disability Research Center, and the Siteman Cancer Center, among others. In keeping with the interdisciplinary nature of modern Genetics, there is the potential for joint appointments with other departments, including Psychiatry, Computer Science & Engineering, Developmental Biology, Neurology, Pathology & Immunology, and Pediatrics.
