Neuroradiology Section Chief

The Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri is seeking a Section Chief to lead our Neuroradiology Section.  The section is made up of 9 Diagnostic and 3 Interventional Neuroradiology faculty members.  This section also trains 9 diagnostic neuroradiology and 2 Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology (ESN) fellows in our ACGME approved programs.   Our Neuroradiology section offers a strong academic environment that maintains a tradition of excellence in clinical service, education, and clinical research.


Applicants should be ABR certified with either an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. and fellowship trained in Neuroradiology.   The desired applicant should be an excellent clinician with proven leadership abilities.  A background and interest in the pursuit of clinical translational research as demonstrated by both peer-reviewed publications and receipt of either industry or federal funding along with the ability to mentor others with these interests is very beneficial.
