Director, Division of Pediatric Genetics & Genomic Medicine #1010028

Director of Division of Genetics & Genomic Medicine, Department of Pediatrics at Washington University School of Medicine and St. Louis Children’s Hospital. The division provides prompt, comprehensive and compassionate state-of-the-art clinical care to patients and their families. The division is also actively involved in teaching genetics and genomic medicine to medical students at Washington University, residents and postgraduate fellows on our medical campus, and physicians and other healthcare providers at Washington University and in the greater St. Louis community. Broad clinical and bench research programs are ongoing.

Physician-scientist with strong leadership in clinical genetics a must, as well as a strong research program that links childhood diseases to their genetic origins. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Genetics and Genomic Medicine with management duties in educational training and research programs required. Will be responsible for expanding and coalescing the various clinical genetics endeavors across the campus, while playing a transformative role in strategizing how to best utilize the rich genomic and experimental platforms housed within the medical center.
