Sleep Medicine faculty
The Sleep Medicine Section in the Department of Neurology at Washington University in St Louis is recruiting for a faculty position in Sleep Medicine. MD degree, residency training, fellowship training in Sleep Medicine and Board eligibility or Board Certification in Sleep Medicine are requirements for the position. The primary duties for the position are to evaluate and manage patients with sleep disorders in hospital on our expanding sleep consultation service in Barnes-Jewish Hospital, and in the outpatient setting at the Washington University Sleep Medicine Center. Interpreting polysomnograms and unattended sleep studies is required; ability to interpret electroencephalograms is desirable but not required. A growing Pediatric Sleep Program offers opportunities in pediatric sleep medicine if desired. The Sleep Medicine Section has providers with a broad range of expertise in many facets of sleep medicine and administers the ACGME-accredited sleep fellowship program at Washington University School of Medicine. The academic environment also includes sleep researchers in other clinical and pre-clinical departments at Washington University.
