Nuclear Medicine - Physicist
Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University School of Medicine, St Louis, MO is seeking an Clinical Nuclear Medicine Physicist. We are academically affiliated with Barnes-Jewish Hospital, one of the top hospitals based on US News. We offer extensive facilities including PET/MRI, PET/CT, SPECT/CT, 3 medical cyclotrons, small animal imaging facilities, and GMP radiopharmaceutical preparation supporting cutting edge clinical care and translational research.
Applicants must be certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Radiology in Medical Physics (Ph.D. degree) or American Board of Science in Nuclear Medicine. The applicant is required to have expertise in Nuclear Medicine cameras (conventional gamma cameras, SPECT/CT and PET/CT). Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in radionuclide dosimetry for imaging and therapy and those with expertise in radiation safety related to radionuclide administration.
