#1011045 Clinical Cancer Geneticist

The Departments of Medicine and Pediatrics at Washington University in St. Louis are seeking a full-time clinical geneticist with an interest in adult and pediatric cancer.  

 

Washington University is a leader in genomic sequencing, diagnosis and management of rare inherited conditions, and gene discovery. The Siteman Cancer Center is an international leader in cancer treatment, research, prevention, education, and community outreach, and provides care for approximately 12,000 newly diagnosed cancer patients each year. We hold multidisciplinary Pediatric and Adult Cancer Predisposition Clinics. Washington University has a clinical site and model organism screening center for the NIH’s Undiagnosed Diseases Program. We have ABMGG approved fellowship programs in clinical and medical biochemical genetics as well as laboratory genetics and genomics and a training program in genetic counseling. Our division also serves as a newborn screening center for both Missouri and Illinois, which includes lysosomal storage conditions in both states. There are tremendous opportunities for personal and professional growth offered by a wide array of educational conferences and collaborative clinical work.
