Washington University in St. Louis invites applications for full-time Instructors (multiple position openings) in the Department of Medicine. Positions in St. Louis, MO. The successful candidates will provide internal medicine care, specifically to an adult population in a hospital setting. The position will advocate the practice of safe medicine while leading initiatives in quality improvement, patient safety and evidence-based medicine; instruct current residents and medical students who rotate on the Hospital Medical Service; and provide inpatient care for adults. Position worksite addresses include the following locations: Barnes Jewish Hospital at One Barnes Jewish Hospital Plaza, St. Louis, MO 63110; Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital, 12364 Olive Blvd, Creve Coeur, MO 63141; and The Rehabilitation Institute of St. Louis, 4455 Duncan Ave, St. Louis, MO 63110.

Position requires M.D./D.O. degree (or foreign education equivalent); and requires completion of residency in Internal Medicine by start date; Missouri State medical license eligible by start date; and innovative and effective approach to teaching, mentoring and leadership in clinical education setting.
