Instructor in Surgery - Public Health Sciences

The Department of Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis is seeking a faculty member at the Instructor level to join our Division of Public Health Sciences with experience in public health, psychology, epidemiology, applied anthropology or related field.

Successful candidates should have:

  • A doctoral degree in public health, psychology, epidemiology, applied anthropology, or related field.
  • A demonstrated track record of research excellence;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

In addition to research commitment, the candidates will have a strong interest in teaching and mentoring trainees and a desire as well as demonstrated ability to collaborate with research investigators in public health and/or medical fields of study. Candidates should be committed to building strategic partnerships across communities.

We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in health equity, race and socioeconomic disparities in cancer, racial and social inequalities as they impact health, implementation science, and interventions across the cancer care continuum.
