Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist (Full-Time), Academic Clinician, Knight Alzheimer Disease Research Center (ADRC)

The Department of Neurology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and its Knight Alzheimer Disease Research Center (ADRC) are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible neurologist for a full-time faculty position as an Academic Clinician (clinical track).  The primary responsibility for this position will be the evaluation and management of patients with cognitive disorders in an outpatient subspecialty clinic, the Memory Diagnostic Center.  Additional responsibilities (subject to the candidate’s interests and the approval of his/her faculty supervisor) may include serving the Knight ADRC’s Clinical Trial Unit in conducting clinical trials, both those sponsored by academic entities and by industry, of experimental anti-Alzheimer therapies and teaching medical students and neurology residents.

 

The Department of Neurology employs over 100 faculty and offers neurological care in all subspecialties. Affiliated hospitals include Barnes-Jewish (BJH), Barnes-Jewish West County (BJWC), St. Louis Children’s Hospital (SLCH), and the Rehabilitation Institute of St. Louis.
