CLINICAL NEUROPSYCHOLOGIST
The Section of Neuropsychology in the Department of Neurology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis seeks a full-time, adult clinical neuropsychologist to support the growth of the Section. The recruited neuropsychologist will provide neuropsychological services and contribute to the teaching and clinical supervision missions of the Section. The candidate will see outpatients and inpatients on the stroke and brain injury services at The Rehabilitation Institute of St. Louis. The neuropsychologist will primarily conduct outpatient neuropsychological evaluations of adults with a variety of neurological disorders (e.g., dementias, multiple sclerosis, stroke, cancer, traumatic brain injury). The neuropsychologist will participate in the NHL neuropsychology concussion care program, and be expected to provide lectures to physiatry, neurology and psychiatry residents at the University.
This is a clinical track position with faculty appointment in the Department of Neurology. There are many clinical and translational research opportunities available in the department. The position is supported by psychometrician and administrative staff. The recruited neuropsychologist will join three current neuropsychologists in the Section. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Applicants must hold a doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA/CPA-accredited program, and have completed an APA/CPA-accredited predoctoral internship as well as a two-year postdoctoral neuropsychology fellowship. Applicants who are board-certified or eligible for board-certification in neuropsychology are highly preferred.
The Department of Neurology employs over 100 faculty and offers neurological care in all subspecialties.
