Assistant Professor

Pain Management Psychologist

• Provide individual, group psychotherapy and crisis intervention for patients. 
• Perform diagnostic interviews and assessments and prepare documentation of results. 
• Prepare progress notes in accordance with department and professional guidelines. 
• Provide consultation services to medical staff and faculty. 
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings. 
• Assist in the education and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows. 


• Five years of experience in a medical or interdisciplinary clinic setting


• Working knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis and treatment with communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of chronic pain conditions and evidence based interventions.

Licensed or license eligible to practice as a psychologist in the state of Missouri. Candidates who are licensed in other states must obtain Missouri licensure within 6 months.
