Assistant or Associate Professor - Vascular Surgery

The Division of General Surgery, Section of Vascular Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis is seeking a Vascular Surgeon providing inpatient and outpatient vascular services on a daily basis.  This is an outpatient office at the hospital, a vascular diagnostic laboratory and will perform in a daily fashion open surgical and endovascular procedures.  Candidate will manage patients with arterial and venous disease outside of the heart and brain.  Candidate will be responsible for inpatients at the hospital with vascular disease in the aortic, carotid, mesenteric and lower extremity distributions.  Additionally, will also manage outpatient office and the vascular diagnostic laboratory. The successful candidate will need to be board certified and have completed a vascular surgery residency program with proven leadership skills. 

Candidate will also provide emergency night and weekend coverage for the facility with the assistance of the Section of Vascular Surgery.  Teaching duties will include teaching residents and oversee the clinical training of doctors.  Will guide the resident doctors in a day to day patient care and explain proper patient care techniques and procedures.  

The successful candidate will need to be board certified and have completed a vascular surgery residency program with proven leadership skills.
