General Radiologist-Missouri Baptist Medical Center

Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) through Washington University Regional Physicians is seeking full-time general radiologists for positions at Missouri Baptist Medical Center (426 bed tertiary care center) in west county St. Louis. These positions will also have a courtesy faculty appointment with Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and opportunities to regularly participate in educational activities and career development opportunities at MIR.  A state of the art SECTRA PACS system and EPIC EMR support efficient workflows.

MIR is staffed with globally-recognized radiologists with subspecialty training who provide a full range of diagnostic imaging procedures for both pediatric and adult patients.  In addition, our equipment is among the most advanced available and includes state-of-the-art ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), dedicated PET/MRI, and dual energy CT scanners with advanced imaging and 3D processing workstations.

Applicants are expected to be board certified or eligible in radiology and must have a diverse diagnostic skillset appropriate for a dynamic, growing practice. This includes an ability to read emergency department cases, mammography, and general invasive procedures including CT/ultrasound biopsies, myelograms, etc.  Subspecialty training in breast, musculoskeletal, neuro and abdominal imaging is desirable.  Fellowship training is preferred but not required if candidate has substantial relevant practice experience.
