Dermatopathologist-Dermatologist

The Department of Medicine, Division of Dermatology, and the Department of Pathology at Washington University School of Medicine are seeking a full-time, board certified/eligible dermatopathologist-dermatologist for a joint position in Dermatology and Pathology. Our Dermatopathology Center is a dynamic and growing service, with a wide variety of inflammatory and neoplastic cases from outpatient and inpatient academic settings, as well as from practitioners in the community.  Our physicians and laboratory staff integrate a full range of diagnostic tests in our state-of-the-art facility located in the heart of the academic medical center.  Our Dermatology clinical practice is comprised of over 20 dermatologists, many with a sub-specialty interest, drawing cases from a large regional catchment area.  We are part of the Washington University Physician network, with access to nationally-recognized specialists across medical fields.

The proportion of time spent in each discipline is flexible, but current expectation is at least 0.5 FTE in dermatopathology with additional FTE in clinical dermatology.  A particular interest in medical education, with emphasis on teaching residents and fellows in dermatopathology, is preferred.  The position will be at a level commensurate with experience.  Ranked among the top five medical schools in the country by U.S. News & World Report, WUSM and BJH, which is perennially ranked as one of the top 10 hospitals, offer a highly collegial environment within which to work and learn.  Candidates must have completed an accredited dermatology residency and dermatopathology fellowship.  A highly competitive compensation and incentive package will be offered to the successful candidate.

Board eligible in both Dermatology and Dermatopathology.
