Neuroradiologist

The Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR)  is seeking a full-time clinical neuroradiologist to join a group of fifteen diagnostic neuroradiology and three neurointerventional faculty members in the Neuroradiology Section. The faculty are recognized experts in central nervous system imaging of adult and pediatric patients. The section has an ACGME approved independent training pathway of ten diagnostic and two neurointerventional fellows.

Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) is a globally recognized center of radiology excellence and serves as the academic radiology department at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. It is one of the top-rated radiology departments in the world.  MIR provides a full range of diagnostic and image-guided therapeutic patient-care services at Barnes-Jewish and St. Louis Children’s hospitals, Barnes-Jewish West County, Barnes-Jewish St. Peters and Progress West hospitals, the Siteman Cancer Center, among others. Operations of MIR are expanding and now include Christian Hospital and in early 2021, Missouri Baptist Hospital. The neuroradiology section offers a nurturing clinical and academic environment that maintains a tradition of excellence in clinical service, education, and cutting-edge research on the brain, head, neck and spine. Applicants should be ABR certified or board eligible with either an MD or MD/PhD, fellowship trained in Neuroradiology, and a deep commitment to clinical excellence and teaching. Although not required, it is desirable that the applicant should also have a background and interest in the pursuit of clinical research.
