Interventional Radiologist- Missouri Baptist

The Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at the Washington University School of Medicine, St Louis, MO is seeking an Interventional Radiologist interested in expanding IR services at Missouri Baptist Hospital.  This opportunity will be affiliated with our academic IR practice which includes 15 faculty members, 5 physician assistants, 6 nurse coordinators and 3 medical/administrative assistants.  Our department also has ACGME approved independent and integrated IR training pathways. 

Established in 1987, our interventional radiology section is one of the largest and most comprehensive IR services in the nation. Approximately 40,000 IR procedures are performed each year encompassing adult, pediatric, vascular and non-vascular procedures.

Applicants should be ABR certified or ABR eligible with either an M.D. or M.D., Ph.D. and fellowship training in interventional radiology. Applicants should be experienced in the broad spectrum of IR procedures and be interested in playing a key role in training an immensely talented group of over 70 Radiology residents.  We have opportunities for clinical development, teaching, research and national involvement. Members of the section are quite active in many national organizations.
