Faculty (full-time), Sports Medicine, WUSM, Orthopaedic Surgery

 

Washington University School of Medicine and the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is seeking a board certified/board eligible orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in Sports Medicine to join the Division of Sports Medicine.  We are seeking an orthopedic surgeon proficient in arthroscopic and open surgical procedures as well as nonoperative care of an active patient population. Interest in team care is also a prerequisite.

Clinical responsibilities of this position include developing a full-time academic clinical practice with sports coverage. Academic responsibilities include active participation in clinical and/or basic science research as well as fellow and resident education including clinical training, teaching, participation in conferences and journal clubs, and related activities.

All applicants must have completed fellowship training and be Board Certified, or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery. Preference will be given to applicants who have satisfied the requirements for the Subspecialty Certificate in Orthopedic Sports Medicine. The applicant must be eligible to obtain a permanent Missouri license.
