Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist / Critical Care Medicine
The Department of Anesthesiology at Washington University School of Medicine is seeking full time Dual Cardiothoracic and Critical Care Medicine, fellowship trained anesthesiologist faculty members.
The position includes a balance of clinical time in cardiothoracic ORs, in critical care practice supporting academic as well as community hospital sites, and ICU telemedicine. Interest in education, leadership, and administration are encouraged and will be supported with non-clinical time, mentoring, and opportunities for advanced training to match the interests of the applicant. Strengths of the program include integration of an ICU telemedicine program to support academic and community critical care practice and to provide programmatic support for quality improvement projects as well as other novel explorations in critical care.
The Department of Anesthesiology, which includes over 150 faculty members, is one of the most successful and innovative anesthesiology programs in the U.S. We have a long and rich history of excellence in the multi-faceted missions of collaborative patient care, education, and research.
Requirements include successful completion of an ACGME-approved fellowship trained in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine
Board certified or eligible in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine.
