Expand a service that provides advanced diagnostic and therapeutic interventions in the field of gastrointestinal luminal pediatric gastroenterology.
M.D. degree or equivalent.
Board certified in Pediatrics, Sub-Board Certified or eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, & Nutrition.
Completion of one year formal training in advanced procedural skills relevant to pediatric gastroenterology.
Skilled in all basic procedural aspects of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, & Nutrition (e.g., colonoscopy, polypectomy, esophageal dilatation, mucosal injection, and rectal suction biopsies, placement of feeding tubes).
Trained and competent in advanced procedures, including endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic ultrasound, stricturoplasty, small bowel enteroscopy.
Work with administration of Department and Hospital and other faculty to expand our procedure service.
Willingness to teach junior faculty and trainees.
Clinical research in relevant field.
Engagement in national consortiums.
