Radiation Oncology Physician Scientist
The Department of Radiation Oncology at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri seeks a full-time Faculty Member (Associate Professor/Professor) in the Department of Radiation Oncology to serve as a Radiation Oncologist (physician scientist), providing part-time direct patient care and patient related services. Duties also will include teaching medical students, residents and fellows, as well as other scholarly activities as assigned by the Department. It is expected that this faculty member will transition an existing laboratory, have existing NIH R01 level or equivalent funding, mentor junior faculty in addition to the above trainees and spend approximately 75% of effort on research activities for continued independent extramural funding.
