General Radiologist- Christian Hospital

The Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) through Washington University Regional Physicians seeks a Board Eligible/Certified full-time general radiologist with some experience in light interventional procedures at Christian Hospital in  St. Louis County, Missouri for its expanding Section of Washington University Regional Physicians/Community Radiology group.  This position will also have a courtesy faculty appointment with the Washington University School of Medicine.

Although we are based in St. Louis city, our community radiology section provides a broad range of advanced imaging procedures to hospitals and outpatient clinics serving St. Charles, St. Louis, and Phelps Counties. Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) is comprised of a large multi-specialty collaborative faculty, and is one of the preeminent academic radiology departments in the nation.
We use disease-specific protocols, perform quality imaging exams and provide accurate and in-depth interpretations. Not all imaging centers and radiologists are alike. Our expertise and the time we take for tests often eliminates the need for more imaging exams and reduces patients' exposure to radiation. We provide pediatric and adult radiologic services.

Qualified applicants should have a diverse diagnostic skillset appropriate for our dynamic and growing practice. Desirable attributes include the ability to read emergency department cases, mammography, and general invasive procedures including CT/ultrasound biopsies, myelograms, etc. Fellowship training is optimal, but not required if there has been substantial relevant practice experience.

General Radiologist experience ideally with basic interventional skills.

We provide our radiologists with generous benefits that include health, life and disability coverage, retirement and tuition assistance.  In addition to these competitive benefits, the university offers a variety of time off and quality-of-life programs.

We are a diverse group and wholly encourage diversity to reflect the rich community in which we live and serve. We are committed to promoting an environment that is inclusive and welcoming to all individuals. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, veteran status, disability or genetic information.
