Interventional Radiologist (Program Lead: Interventional Oncology)

The Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) at the Washington University Medical Center is seeking an individual who will lead the Interventional Oncology Program within its Interventional Radiology Section.   
 
MIR’s Interventional Radiology Section provides services to Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital, and St. Louis Children's Hospital. The practice encompasses the full spectrum of vascular and nonvascular Interventional Radiology. The section currently has 14 faculty all firmly committed to excellence in teaching, academics, and clinical care in a collegial environment.  We have an active fellowship program and numerous ongoing academic projects.  We have 13 dedicated interventional suites distributed across four sites as well as separate outpatient clinic space supported by a team of more than ten physician assistants, nurse coordinators, medical assistants and administrative staff.  We also have an active inpatient admitting service and large referral base via our participation with the multidisciplinary Siteman Cancer Center, an NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center.   

The ideal candidate will be interested in actively expanding the Interventional Oncology program through a combination of cutting-edge clinical care, teaching and research.  Qualified applicants will hold a CAQ in Interventional Radiology and have experience leading multidisciplinary teams.  Academic rank and tenure status will depend on qualifications and experience.
