Instructor in Cardiothoracic Surgery

The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis is seeking a cardiac surgeon at the Instructor level to join our section of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery with experience in heart transplantation, ventricular assist devices and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).  While the primary focus of this position will be full-time clinical cardiac surgery and patient care related services, candidates must have a strong commitment to the education of cardiothoracic and general surgery residents.

 

The candidate is required to have completed a cardiothoracic surgery residency program and clinical fellowships in advanced cardiovascular surgery and in mechanical circulatory support devices and heart transplant. As part of Washington University Medical Center, one of the nation’s biggest clinical and biomedical research facilities, the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery has one of the world’s largest, most experienced, cardiothoracic practices.
