The section has a long history of clinical excellence, teaching excellence, national engagement and camaraderie. Abundant translational research opportunities exist within the University. Our diagnostic radiology residency is the largest in the country. Our breast imaging fellowship program has trained dozens of fellows several of whom now serve in leadership roles across the country. The ideal candidate will advance our clinical, research and educational programs while continuing our reputation as a national leader in the breast cancer imaging.
This position plays an important role in leading the clinical, teaching and research missions of the Breast Imaging section. Applicants should be ABR certified, and fellowship trained in Breast Imaging Radiology with prior leadership experience. Academic rank will be dependent on qualifications. The desired candidate should be an outstanding leader, innovator, clinician, and educator with proven ability to lead and grow our breast imaging services.
