The Immunobiology Division in the Department of Pathology and Immunology at Washington University School of Medicine invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. We seek exceptional PhD, MD/PhD, or MD candidates in basic and/or translational immunology in any area of adaptive or innate immunity. The successful candidate will become integrated in the university’s immunology community that features highly successful members, a collaborative atmosphere, and broad research interests in all areas of innate and adaptive immunity. The division is associated with a large, highly ranked graduate Immunology Program. The department also includes world-class research in other areas, including microbiome, virology, DNA repair, and drug development. Faculty have access to specialized centers in human immunology, diabetes, and regenerative medicine, and the department sponsors state-of-the art facilities in flow and mass cytometry, mouse genetics, hybridoma generation, peptide mass spectrometry, and intravital imaging. These add to university-wide facilities that support structural biology, translational studies, metabolic research, and genomics.
